Eagle Industries is one of the most prolific manufacturers of anything MOLLE. From pouches to plate carriers to packs, countless examples of their products have been fielded and abused by special forces such as the Navy SEALs for decades, and many of their designs remain ever-relevant and currently deployed. They're prominently known for their no-BS pouch design that scraps gimmicks in favor of durability and no-nonsense usage, and it's for that reason that we like their stuff a lot.
This one in particular is the beloved beast, the 200-round "SAW" pouch. Granted that you're not lucky enough to own your very own M249 SAW, this pouch has a fantastic array of uses that would take too long to list — It's a large capacity pouch designed for 200 rounds of 5.56, whether it's in an M249 drum or 6 USGI STANAG magazines. But its real upside is how great of a general purpose pouch it is. The perfect size to store binoculars, Night vision goggles (with a padded insert), an IFAK, mess kit, dump pouch, the list goes on.
It features a durable, hook and loop (and snap!) double-flap closure that can be used as a single flap when hooked together. And thanks to Eagle's simple yet rugged design, this thing will likely outlive you. Compatible with anything MOLLE and many tactical belts, the built-in snap-secured straps make it easy to attach anywhere on your kit.
